Smiling is something that we have forgotten today. When I think of smiling, I am reminded of the popular inspirational smiling quote – “One smile a day keeps the doctor away”. Smiling is something that we should do often. Nowadays the word “Smiling” has become a strange concept to us. We hardly smile. We forget about smiling.
We are angry, we are crying, we are doing everything but we are not smiling enough. A recent research at a prestigious university in London found out that when we smile we send happy signals to our brain. We tell our brain that we are happy and the brain releases happy hormones - which are called Endorphins.
I think when it comes to smiling, we have forgotten how to do it. The logical mind questions us and tells us that it is not necessary. Or condemns us saying that we are immature enough to laugh at a situation and not mature enough to understand the gravity of the situation. But the funny part is no matter how serious we are – the truth is What has to happen will happen.
So, why be scared or sad or angry about it? Let’s just smile and embrace it.
