1. Raja’s seat

3. Abbey Falls

Just opposite to the falls there is a hanging bridge that is constructed where a breath-taking view of the river Kaveri is provided. 4. National Park of Nagarhole

5. Omkareshwar temple
In Madikeri it is one of the beautiful temples which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the year 1820 the construction of the temple commenced and has links with the architecture of Muhammad culture. A mere look at the design would mesmerize you. There is a turret on both sides and a dome in the middle when it comes to this unique structure. By the temple gate there is magnificent lingam with a water tank. In the fish tank you may spot various types of fish and it is one of the better-known places to visit within 2 days. There is no entry fee and the best time to visit the place is between the month of October to March.
6. Brahmagiri hills

In fact, it is a picture perfect mountain that is 1608 metre above sea level. While hiking on the hill you can treat yourself to a mixture of flora and fauna. Once you reach the top you may enjoy the mesmerizing view. There are a series of mystic caves and it is believed it is known to have a mythological connection. An ideal time to visit the place is between the month of October to November and there is an entry fee of Rs 275 being levied on each person.
7. Chikli Holi dam

From the month of March to June you may visit the place and no form of entry fees is required to enter the place.
8. Talakaveri
It is situated at a height of 1276 metre which is above sea level, this destination has to be on your to do visit list for a short trip. As part of the location there is a small temple which attracts pilgrims. In addition, you could enjoy a small spring like Brahma Kundike
There is a say it originated from the spring lake. The spring flowed underground and emerged from a short distance. Pretty much near the temple there is a huge tank where the pilgrims can take bath and offer prayers. An interesting observation is during the month of October which is on Sankarmana day it is said that bubbles emerge from the spring. This is a symbol of the goddess Cauvery appearing. From the month of July to September you may visit the location and there is no form of entry fee which is needed.
