Last morning, I was looking at the beautiful garden near my home. And, I couldn’t help myself but admire the gorgeous spring flowers all around me. Some where blue, while some where yellow. Some red and others were white.
But together they created this magical aura which was hard to miss. And, the most essential thing was these colourful butterflies roaming over those flowers. At that point of time, I would have rejected a million dollars to get someone click a natural photograph of that moment and bring it back to me. But I couldn’t.
So, I tried the next best thing. Which was make a butterfly craft with all that I got. And, there you go. This is what I did.
Supplies needed for Handprint Wooden Spoon Butterfly Craft
- Construction paper
- Wooden spoon
- Pipe cleaner
- Googly Eyes
- Black Sharpie
- Glue
- Scissors
Let’s Make a Handprint Wooden Spoon Butterfly Craft
Step 1: Use your kid’s hands to trace out two handprints on any construction paper that you like. Now, cut it out with scissors.
Step 2: Stick them at the back of the wooden spoon and let it dry for about 30-minutes
Step 3: Make a small butterfly face with a black sharpie. Stick two googly eyes right in place. Make the antenna with a pipe cleaner cut in half.
And, there you go. That’s exactly how you make a colourful butterfly with wooden spoon. Interesting huh?
