Many a time when I am reading an unputdownable book and I feel like I need to go off to sleep, I hunt my table or my drawer for some bookmark. But, no matter how safely I keep them, I lose it eventually. Therefore I thought to make my own bookmark.
A bookmark that has my personality embedded in it. All I needed was a little time. Turns out, I didn’t quite got the time until I picked another book and faced the same situation. Funny huh?
Well, it was! So, I had to make the bookmark that I had been building up in my head. And, there you go, I have made it. And even taught you guys how to make it.
Supplies needed for your DIY Washi Tape Bookmark
- Washi Tape
- Scissors
- Old Used Envelopes or you can make it yourself
How to Make this DIY Washi Tape Bookmark?
- From the bottom left of the envelope make a diagonal cut to the half of the top left. So, basically just cut out one corner (bottom left in this case).
- What you will be having is a small triangle with a tiny pocket.
- Wrap your envelope with washi tape.
- After you’ve covered your triangle with washi tape, cut out the excess. You will have to wrap your triangle entirely. So repeat the step with each face of the envelope.
And there you go, you have your very own personalized DIY Washi tape bookmark.
